Fusing biomimetics and commerce

This retail design is composed of 9 standard modules that generate a defined geometry, however, we faced multiple challenges in this process, a first challenge was that the areas we intervened were irregular and the model did not fit perfectly in each of them, for this reason we made adjustments in the initial parameterized module, which allowed us to become efficient each of the designs and production, achieving unify all materials and generating 25% less waste, going from 9 modules to 90, which was also reflected in a decrease in production and manufacturing costs.

A second challenge arose in the production and installation process, where color was one more variable in the puzzle, our solution was to generate several listings from our digital tools by color, by part, by unique code and by manufacturing order.

Likewise, to successfully complete this project, we planned the logistics in partial shipments: by areas, colors and types of pieces, for this, we created production lists 100% friendly with the production process.

As they are 3D symmetries with special patterns, we optimize the number of parts for installation,

resulting in a three-dimensional design capable of covering the total curvatures of the building.dejando como resultado un diseño tridimensional capaz de cubrir las curvaturas totales de la edificación.
