Mariano Rivera: an impressive project that will go down in history

This project is one of the largest investments in sports facilities ever made by the National Government of Panama, and was awarded by the Panamanian Sports Institute (Pandeportes), was designed by the MorGrosstda Architecture office, and will be advised by MLB experts.
This stadium will bear the name of the best closer of all time in Major League Baseball, Mariano Rivera.
The facility will have all the facilities of an MLB stadium and will have a capacity for 10,000 fans. This project will be 4,345 linear meters in its façade and will have differences in its volumes to give the appearance of movement and curves. Going from a static facade to a dynamic one regardless of the perspective from which it is observed.

This work will be delivered in 2025, and the main challenges we are anticipating are:

  1. To homologate as many different pieces as possible within the same variable range of 10 to 50 mm height in order to reduce by 85% the number of different pieces, this in order to maintain the initial geometry, but that both in production and installation is as optimal as possible.
  2. Optimize the depths through the use of various plugins we have to consume the least amount of material, maximizing the area of the product.

We are confident that this project will be a success, and we are proud to be part of this process.
